Our path to farming didn’t begin with land or equipment — it began with curiosity, hard work, and a willingness to learn.
Just over a decade ago, we didn’t own a single acre of land or a piece of equipment. Earl and Lindsay both worked in orchard consulting through college, and as a hobby, Earl began growing vegetables on the side. What started as a passion project slowly grew into something much bigger.
With full-time jobs and our first child on the way, we rented five acres and purchased our first tractor — an open-cab 1950s Ford that’s still used on the farm today. The learning curve was steep, but each season brought growth and commitment.

We took a leap of faith and purchased our home farm — 69 acres with an aging orchard. Over time, we added neighboring parcels and began transitioning the farm to what it is today.
A small roadside stand turned into the Garden Gazebo, allowing us to expand our offerings and better serve our customers.

We opened our doors to U-PICK strawberries, apples, and pumpkins, expanded our gazebos, and welcomed our third child — all in the same season.
We launched Garnish & Gather, a flexible take on the CSA model, hosted on-farm events, school fundraisers, and our first Harvest Festival.

Today, LaMora Farms continues to grow with a focus on high-quality produce, thoughtful orchard development, and creating a welcoming place for families to connect with local agriculture. From U-PICK experiences to our Garden Gazebo farm stand, everything we do is rooted in stewardship, learning, and community.
We enjoy sharing both the rewards and the challenges of farming — from growing practices to favorite family recipes. We invite you to follow along, visit the farm, and grow with us.
