WE'RE NOT YOUR AVERAGE CSA...
YOUR SHARE, YOUR CHOICE.
In a traditional CSA, the shareholder (you the consumer) proactively purchases their produce before it is even growing, helping the farmer absorb some of the many production investments necessary to grow significant quantities of quality produce. In return for this investment, shareholders gain access to the freshest, most nutrient-dense produce available, which is grown by us and harvested fresh daily. With GARNISH & GATHER we’ve changed the traditional pre-packaged pick-up style share to allow customers to select their own produce (farmer’s market style) right at our Garden Gazebo- giving our customers more flexibility on what you choose to GARNISH and when you’d like to GATHER. At the beginning of the season G&G customers will receive a LaMora Farms produce tote to use all season long- each week we'll email or text what items are included in your share list as well as our weekly newsletter Out on a Limb... which will keep you up to date on how the food we grow goes from our fields to your family!
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Shares begin the third week of June and end the second week of October (18 weeks). Depending on what is ready in the season, shares will always have both fruit and veggie options, and no two weeks will be the same! Our 2 share options give you the choice of picking the share-size that fits your needs. SMALL GATHER SHARES better serve individuals or smaller families while LARGE GATHER SHARES are geared towards larger families or people who like to can, freeze and preserve through the season. Official pick-up times are Monday 4-6pm and Saturday/Sunday 10am-2pm: these are the times we guarantee the largest selection of produce to choose from - however, shareholders may pick up their share at any time they choose during the week at your convenience- we try to keep the Garden Gazebo stocked at all times but can't guarantee our fullest selection outside the specified share pick-up windows. G&G customers may also split their items over the course of the week, as long as you stay within the total allotted number of items we lay out each week, we want to give our customers the largest selection and most flexibility of any CSA out there!! LARGE GATHER SHARE:
- 8-15 fruit & vegetable items per week
- $520 for 18 weeks
- $1 off every additional $5 spent at the Garden Gazebo, at any Farmer's Markets we participate in and at any of our U-pick offerings including strawberries, peaches, apples & pumpkins through the season!
SMALL GATHER SHARE:
- 6-9 fruit & vegetable items per week
- $340 for 18 weeks
- $1 off every additional $5 spent at the Garden Gazebo, at any Farmer's Markets we participate in and at any of our U-pick offerings including strawberries, peaches, apples & pumpkins through the season!
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM MY SHARE THIS SEASON?
June: strawberries, swiss chard, kale, scallions, greenhouse tomatoes, onions, potatoes, sugar snap peas and more...
July: sweet cherries, raspberries, blueberries, sweet corn, lettuce, greenhouse tomatoes, onions, potatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, beans, cherry tomatoes, scallions, cucumber, kale, beets and more...
August: peaches, nectarines, plums, blueberries, melon, sweet corn, eggplant, beans, peppers, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, kale, yellow squash, zucchini, beets, broccoli and more...
September: apples, Asian pears, raspberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, beans, eggplant, peppers, yellow squash, zucchini, kale, beets, broccoli, cauliflower, winter squash and more...
October: apples, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, beans, peppers, kale, brussel sprouts, beets, broccoli, cauliflower, winter squash and more..
This is just an example guideline- All weekly shares will contain whichever items are currently ripe and ready to GARNISH & GATHER!
